UFC 225: Opening Odds

UFC 225 full lineup of opening odds for Europe, Offshore, Las Vegas.

UFC 225 is upon us Saturday June 9th, 2018 in Chicago, Illinois. UFC 225 is a absolute stacked card with the main event featuring a middleweight title fight between Robert Whittaker and Yoel Romero. Whittaker beat Romero and won the interim middleweight championship last year, then was granted and promoted the full champion after Georges St. Pierre vacated his belt. The co-main event is a welterweight interim championship fight between Rafael dos Anjos and Colby Covington. RDA and Covington have some blood to settle as both have trash talked each other away especially Covington. The controversial Covington will look to prove if he's worthy to stay at the top of the division vs a very tough RDA. Also on the main card is Invicta FC featherweight standout Megan Anderson versus Holly Holm in a featherweight match. Anderson will look to impress and get a win against Holm but Holm is desperate, she needs this win badly to stay relevant. Australian heavyweight prospect Tai Tuivasa gets his biggest fight ever as he takes on ex-champ at heavyweight  Andrei Arlovski. This fight is to test and see where Tuivasa is at and whether or not he goes up or goes down at heavyweight. We can't forget about CM Punk who takes on Mike Jackson on the main card. Punk is just here to get eye balls and people in the seats, so they matched him up against the weakest guy they could find.

Most of the books whether it's European, Offshore and Las Vegas are usually in the same ball park. Vegas really has a stance on this card by opening higher than most with the fighters who are the favorite. The books do have varying opinions and there's value always to be found at the openers especially with fighters you think that should be favorites.
