The UFC has returned to Glasgow, Scotland for the second time ever. The last time the UFC was in Glasgow was two years ago when it was UFC Fight Night: Bisping vs Leites. The main event is Gunnar Nelson vs Santiago Ponzinibbio. Gunnar Nelson seems to be hitting his stride and may finally reach up to the hype he once had. Ponzinibbio has only lost once in the last four years so it's unlikely he will go down that easily in a main event that should be a great fight of a grappler vs a striker. In the co-main event we have Scotland's very own Joanne Calderwood taking on the rolling prospect who is Cynthia Calvillo. Calvillo has won her first two fights by submission in the UFC and adds even more depth to the totally stacked strawweight division. Calderwood is looking to rebound after losing to Jessica Andrade in the first round in her previous fight, after winning her last two out of 3 fights. Calvillo vs Calderwood is a test fight to see where Calvillo is really at and whether or not she can really turn into something. Besides, the main event and co-main event the card really isn't all that interesting with some names the fans won't recognize. Paul Felder vs Stevie Ray should be a great kickboxing match with a potential for a knockout but other than that, the rest of these fights are hit or miss. Will be interesting to see how it all plays and as always you never wanna miss a card because you never know what can happen. 

For 2017 we are 10-7 after our parlay got busted of Angela Hill to win and the Tecia Torres vs Juliana Lima fight to go over 2 1/2 rounds. Hill was able to win with a great display of striking and being able to out work Yoder, Hill continues to impress and get better. Lima made one terrible take down mistake and got choked out versus Torres. Things just aren't falling our way this year but you never give up that's for sure. Our ROI is now 35%, with a total investment of $2,804 and winning a total amount of $1,000. 

Jack Marshman vs Ryan Janes 

Brett Johns vs Albert Morales

For this weekend I've decided to take a parlay of Marshman and Johns at -177 odds (bet $177 to win $100) Janes won't be able to stand with Marshman because of his excellent boxing skills and I expect the fight to stay standing and Marshman has proven to be more consistent at the higher levels. I just don't see how Morales will be able to defend the take downs from Johns. I totally see Johns grinding away here and winning a decision with his wrestling skills.
