UFC Fight Night 131: Opening Odds

UFC Fight Night 131 full lineup of opening odds for Europe, Offshore, Las Vegas.

UFC Utica is pretty weak of a card and most of us is waiting for the fully loaded UFC 225 card on June 9th. The main event is very intriguing as we have Jimmie Rivera versus Marlon Moraes in a very pivotal bantamweight fight. The fight between Rivera and Moraes could go a long way in determining who will face the champ at 135 down the road. Rivera and Moraes were suppose to fight each other last year but injuries and weight cutting issues put this fight on the back burner a while. Both of these fighters have proven they are some of the best bantamweights in the world so it was just a matter of time they squared off, especially when Moraes signed with the UFC. The co-main event isn't very recognizable but we have Gregor Gillespie versus Vinc Pichel. Both fighters with their records combined have only lost once in their careers. Gillespie is 4-0 in the UFC and Pichel is 4-1 in the UFC. The lightweight division in the UFC is very crowded but both these guys in the co-main event will look to further cement their names in a shark invested division. This is one of the worst cards you'll see in names and talent but this is a appetizer for the huge entree on June 9th with UFC 225.

Most of the books whether it's European, Offshore and Las Vegas are usually in the same ball park. Vegas really has a stance on this card by opening higher than most with the fighters who are the favorite. The books do have varying opinions and there's value always to be found at the openers especially with fighters you think that should be favorites.
