UFC Fight Night 84 Draftkings Fantasy

Saturday, February 27th, 2016 the UFC will exclusively air on UFC Fight Pass with UFC Fight Night 84. The event will air from Bloody ol London, England and has a nice mix of established fighters along with some up and coming fighters from Europe. The main event has Anderson Silva vs Michael Bisping. Silva makes his return from PED suspension vs long-time contender Bisping. This matchup has been long overdue, we thought we would see it when Silva reign as champion but he always came up short in making his way to the title. Gegard Mousasi, Thales Leites and Brad Pickett make there way on the card to add some big feel to the event. On paper the card looks really good we shall wait and see.

To make the night more entertaining and edgy you should be up for some MMA fantasy at Draftkings.

For people not familiar with Draftkings MMA I'll give you a quick breakdown for things you need to know.

At Draftkings you build a team of five fighters utilizing a "salary cap" of $50,000 in fantasy money to spend on drafting the team you expect to perform the best on fight night. If your team performs well enough, you will likely have a share of cash prizes in any number of Draftkings games. Points are scored with significant strikes, advances, takedowns, reversal/sweep, knockdowns. The more dominant your fighters performance is the more points you're going to score. For a detailed breakdown of how the scoring works here is a link http://betoncombat.com/fantasy-mma. The most important key to putting together a winning Fantasy MMA lineup is, understanding the true value of win bonuses. When you are selecting your fighters, always make sure to take fighters you believe will win the fight. At the end of the contest, those win bonuses add up and they separate the contest winners from the losers.

Here is my Draftkings lineup for cash games.

Tom Breese ($11,400) His opponent will be over powered here and Breese should definitely get the finish by KO, he is also back home fighting so you know he wants that big finish.

Anderson Silva ($10,800) Michael Bisping ($8,600) This fight I expect to go into the later rounds and both guys racking up some nice points along the way. Like I've said before I love stacking main events because they are five round fights and when I think it will go the distance it is a great opportunity to rack up some extra points because of the 2 extra rounds.

Makwan Amirkhani ($10,200) He has been dominant so far in the UFC and don't see his opponent changing any of that. Amirkhani i like a lot to finish here via submission.

Brad Pickett ($9,000) Pickett is the more technical fighter and I see him accumulating most of the damage to his opponent. He is cheap and his opponent is tough but Pickett is not a bad value at $9,000.

The careers of Bisping and Silva are winding down and we won't be able to see much more of these guys. Both are worldly talents and they have been great to watch fight. Bisping is a total live dog here, Silva has shown signs of regression and I wouldn't be shocked to see Bisping win he has the skills to do it. Mousasi and Leites is a big fight but not much implication as Silva vs Bisping in the middleweight division, fully expect Mousasi to shrub off the Hall loss and win. UFC events on Fight Pass is the future of things to come almost like what the WWE did with there monthly subscription to watch all of there events and it will only get better and better, so if you don't have a fight pass subscription i highly recommend it. I strongly recommend opening a Draftkings account to play, it is a lot of fun and you can make some money along the way!
